Sealed bids from licensed contractors for construction of improvements to Banks Fire Station will be received by Mayor Keeton Hudson at 610 Buck Fever Highway, Banks, Arkansas 71631 until Wednesday, November 4, 2026 at 11:00am, and then at said location publicly opened and read aloud.
The scope of work consists of: Completing interior finish work, plumbing tie-ins, fixture installs, electrical/ HVAC rough in and finish work, all work to be completed per plans and specifications, to existing building. Bidders, ACEDP grant requirements, Bid and Contract Forms, Plans, Specifications, and other contract documents may be examined and obtained ($100.00 cost per set obtained) at www.alfranksengineering.com. All perspective bidders shall obtain a copy of the book no later than two working days prior to bid opening date. No refunds will be made.
A CERTIFIED OR CASHIER’S CHECK, or an acceptable bid bond in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total bid shall accompany each bid as a guaranty that, if awarded the contract, the bidder will promptly enter into contract with the City of Banks, Arkansas and furnish bonds on the forms provided.
Bidders as well as all subcontractors that may be acquired or used are expected to have an active Unique Entity Identifier Number through www.sam.gov the day of bid opening.
The owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids. Bidders may not withdraw their bids within 30 days after the date of bid opening and must provide bid bonds as required. All bidding processes shall be in accordance with State law.
