In accordance with provisions of the Code of Arkansas Rules (CAR), 8 CAR § 11-205, public notice is hereby given that the Division of Environmental Quality (DEQ), Office of Land Resources (OLR) has determined that the application dated June 22, 2022, submitted by Entergy Arkansas, LLC is administratively complete. The application pertains to the construction, operation, and maintenance of a solid waste Class 3N Landfill. The landfill is located in Section 36, Township 3 South, Range 11 West, in Jefferson County, Arkansas. The address of the facility is 1100 White Bluff Road Redfield, AR 72132. The landfill service area is limited to waste produced by Entergy Arkansas LLC at the White Bluff Plant.
This application was determined to be administratively complete on December 21, 2023, and is undergoing technical review by OLR for compliance with State rules. The mailing address for the applicant is 1100 White Bluff Road Redfield, AR 72132.

Interested or affected persons may request a hearing on the proposed permit by giving DEQ a written request within ten (10) business days of publication of this notice. The request shall be in writing to the above address - Attention: Solid Waste Permitting Section and state the reasons for the necessity of a public hearing. DEQ shall have the discretion to decide whether to hold a public hearing, unless otherwise required by law or rule. If a hearing is scheduled, adequate public notice will be given in this newspaper.
