GUY CITY PARK TRAIL IMPVTS.
ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
The City of Guy will receive bids for the Guy City Park Trail lmpvts. until 11:00 am Central Standard time on the October 1, 2026, at which time all bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at the following location: Guy City Hall, 405 Highway 25 N, Guy, AR 72061.
Bids must be hand delivered to the address listed below: Attention: Greg Hooten

The project will overlay an existing chip seal trail located In the city park. The project does not include designing replacement or relocation of existing utilities.
Information for Bidders, Form of Bid, Form of Contract, Plans, Specifications, and Forms of Bid Bond, Performance and Payment Bond and other contract documents may be received at the following locations:

Little Rock, AR 72201
A certified check or bank draft, payable to the order of the City of Guy, Arkansas, negotiable U.S. Government bonds (at par value), or satisfactory bid bond executed by the bidder and an acceptable surety in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total of bid shall be submitted with each bid.
The City of Guy hereby notifies all bidders that this contract is subject to applicable labor laws, non-discrimination provisions, wage rate laws and other federal laws including the Fair Labor Standards Acts of 1938. The Work Hours Act of 1962 and Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 also apply.
BIDDERS ARE ADVISED that BUY AMERICA PROVISIONS apply to this contract. The Arkansas Department of Transportation Standard Specifications for Highway Construction, latest edition, Section 106 contains the requirements and restrictions for Buy America. 23 CFR §635.41O contains all federal requirements for BUILD AMERICA and BUY AMERICA.
The City of Guy reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities in bidding. Bids may be held by the City of Guy for a period not to exceed sixty (60) days following opening of bids for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the qualifications of bidders prior to awarding of the contract.
