Public Notice
Current Hydro LLC, as agent on behalf of Maynard Hydroelectric LLC, Kram Hydro 3, LLC, and Kram Hydro 1, LLC (Applicants) and in compliance with the requirements of the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC), herby gives notice to the public and interested parties that a joint meeting will be held on September 15, 2026 regarding the Col. Charles Maynard Lock and Dam Hydroelectric Project (FERC Project No. P-15406), Emmett Sanders Lock and Dam Hydroelectric Project (P-15330), and Joe Hardin Lock and Dam Hydroelectric Project (P-15326) to be located on the Arkansas River. The projects are located at river miles 86.3, 66.0, and 50.2. The Maynard and Sanders Projects are located in Jefferson County while the Hardin Project is located in Jefferson and Lincoln counties. The upcoming joint meeting marks the beginning of pre-filing consultation for the projects. Pursuant to the requirements set forth by 18 CFR 4.38(g)(1), the following information must be made public:
a. Purpose of the Meeting: To explain the Applicants’ project proposals and their environmental impact, including discussion of the Proposed Study Plans and the results of environmental studies completed to date, and to solicit feedback from Agencies, Federally listed tribes, and members of the public.
b. Location: White Hall Public Library, 300 Anderson Ave, White Hall, AR 71602
c. Timing: 10:00 AM – 12:30 PM CDT, Tuesday, September 15, 2026
d. Availability of Information: The projects’ Pre-Application Documents, Notices of Intent, and Proposed Study Plans can be downloaded on the FERC elibrary using the project / docket numbers P-15406, P-15330, and P-15326 at: https://elibrary.ferc.gov/eLibrary/search
