CITY OF TONTITOWN, ARKANSAS
REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS — PROFESSIONAL AUDITING SERVICES
The City of Tontitown, Arkansas, is soliciting Statements of Qualifications (SOQ) from licensed independent public accounting firms to provide professional auditing, agreed-upon-procedures, and/or compilation services for the City’s Water & Sewer Department, beginning with fiscal year 2026, pursuant to Ark. Code Ann. §§ 14-234-119 and 19-11-801 et seq.
Firms must be licensed and in good standing with the Arkansas State Board of Public Accountancy, independent of the City, and experienced with Arkansas municipal or utility audits. Firms will be ranked on qualifications, experience, independence, and capacity per Ark. Code Ann. § 19-11-803; price is not part of the initial ranking. The City will then negotiate fee and scope with the top-ranked firm under Ark. Code Ann. § 19-11-805.
Statements of Qualification are due by September 25, 2026, to James Clark, Water & Sewer Director, 235 E. Henri de Tonti Blvd., Tontitown, AR 72762, or pwdirector@tontitownar.gov. The City reserves the right to reject any or all submissions.
