Pursuant to 8 CAR § 11-205 of the Arkansas Pollution Control and Ecology Commission’s Administrative Procedures (8 CAR Part 11) and 8 CAR Part 42, the Arkansas Department of Energy and Environment, Division of Environmental Quality (DEQ) gives the following notice:
LSB Chemical L.L.C. (AFIN: 70•00040) has submitted an application for a renewal of their existing air permit under the Division Environmental Quality’s 8 CAR Part 42 (Title V). This facility is located at 4500 North West Avenue, El Dorado, AR 71730. This application was declared administratively complete on 4/24/2026, and is undergoing technical review by the Office of Air Quality for compliance with State rules and Federal regulations. Interested or affected persons may request a hearing on the proposed permit by giving DEQ a written request within ten (10) business days of publication of this notice. The request shall be in writing to the above address - Attention: Air Permits Branch and state the reasons for the necessity of a public hearing. The DEQ shall have the discretion to decide whether to hold a public hearing, unless otherwise required by law or rule. If a hearing is scheduled, adequate public notice will be given in this newspaper.
