Request for Qualifications
For Professional Engineering Services
Southeast Arkansas Regional Intermodal Facility Authority (SEARIFA) is constructing of a new water well at 184 Lipton Industrial Parkway, Monticello, AR 71655. SEARIFA is interested in acquiring the services of an engineering firm or individual to provide the necessary services for the above-referenced project. The project is funded by US Department of Commerce/Economic Development Administration (EDA) and Arkansas Economic Development Commission (AEDC).
Procedures for selection of a firm or individual will be in accordance with the Federal and State procurement requirements. All RFQ responses will be evaluated by a committee appointed by the SEARIFA Board. All RFQ responses will be evaluated in terms of specialized experience and technical competence; performance; and capacity and capability of the firm/individual to perform work. Respondents must also include evidence of the firm’s or individual’s active sam.gov registration.
Negotiations will begin with the respondent obtaining the highest total score in the evaluation process. The terms of any contract for professional engineering services awarded in conjunction with this RFQ shall be subject to approval of funding. SEARIFA shall not be liable for any costs incurred by the firms/individuals submitting qualifications.
SEARIFA reserve the right to reject any or all submittals, waive any informalities or technicalities and to choose the respondent deemed most advantageous and to serve the best interests of SEARIFA. This is a qualifications-based request and any mention of fees or price will disqualify your submittal.
