Columbia County, Arkansas will receive SEALED BIDS for the Columbia County Storm Warning Siren Project. Bids shall be addressed to the Honorable Doug Fields, Columbia County Judge, #1 Court Square, Magnolia, Arkansas 71753, and will be received until 10:00 A.M. on Tuesday, October 6, 2026, at which time bids will be opened publicly and read aloud at the Office of the County Judge, Columbia County Courthouse, #1 Court Square, Magnolia, Arkansas.
The scope of work consists of furnishing and installing, turnkey, five (5) omni-directional outdoor warning sirens with radio decoder and control units, mounted on 45-foot Class II wooden poles, at sites in Magnolia, Emerson, Waldo, McNeil, and Taylor, together with one (1) automatic siren activation and weather monitoring system, including all equipment, materials, labor, freight, programming, testing, operator training, and warranty.

Bidders are expected to examine the sites and inform themselves of all local conditions. Bidding requirements will be included in the bid document package.
COLUMBIA COUNTY, ARKANSAS reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informalities, and to award the contract to the bidder who, in the opinion of the County, offers the proposal in the best interest of the County.
This project is funded in part through the Arkansas Division of Emergency Management, State Hazard Mitigation Grant Program. No award will be made to any party debarred, suspended, or otherwise excluded from participation in federal or state assistance programs.
