Request for Letters of Interest and Statements of Qualifications for Aviation Engineering Consultation
Request for Qualifications (RFQ)-26-66
The City of Bentonville is requesting Statements of Qualifications from properly qualified, licensed and experienced professional engineering firms interested in providing aviation (airport) engineering services for the City of Bentonville Municipal Airport (Louise Thaden Field) (located at 2205 SW I Street Bentonville, AR). The general scope of the services/work to be performed shall consist of the various types of professional consultant services described within FAA Advisory Circular 150/5100-14E.
The City reserves the right to cancel this request at any time in accordance with the City’s best interest. The City also reserves the right to reject any submission received and to waive irregularities in accordance with the City’s best interest. Submitters agree that such rejection shall be without liability on the part of the City of Bentonville for any damage or claim brought by any Submitter because of such rejections, nor shall the Submitter seek any recourse of any kind against the City because of such rejections. The filing of any Submissions in response to this Invitation shall constitute an agreement of the Submitter to these conditions.
The City of Bentonville encourages all qualified small, minority and women owned businesses to participate and submit for City projects/purchases.
Interested parties can obtain the required Response Packet by emailing purchasing@bentonville.ar.gov, by calling 479-271-3115, or from the Purchasing and Compliance Department located in the City of Bentonville Administrative Services Building on the 2nd floor, 1000 SW 14th Street Bentonville, AR 72712. The Response Packet may also be downloaded from the Purchasing and Compliance Page of the City’s website (http://www.bentonville.ar.gov/211/purchasing) by clicking “Beacon Bid Portal” and then clicking “View Open Solicitations”; however, interested parties are encouraged to notify Purchasing and Compliance that they have downloaded the Packet to ensure that they are on the distribution list for Addenda and/or Q&A. Interested Parties should note that there may be a 24-48 hour delay from the date of publication for the documents to be available on the City’s website.
The deadline to submit a Statement of Qualifications for RFQ-26-66 is 4:00 PM CST on September 30, 2026. The City is utilizing E-bidding via Beacon Bid for this RFQ-26-66 as well as accepting physical hard copy submissions. Respondents may access Beacon Bid by visiting the Purchasing and Compliance Page of the City’s website (http://www.bentonville.ar.gov/211/purchasing) by clicking “Beacon Bid Portal” and then clicking “View Open Solicitations” and then clicking RFQ-26-66. Submissions must be uploaded to Beacon Bid or must be mailed or hand delivered in a sealed envelope to the City of Bentonville Purchasing and Compliance Department, located in the City of Bentonville Administrative Services Building on the 2nd floor, 1000 SW 14th Street, Bentonville, AR 72712. All submissions must be received by Purchasing and Compliance prior to the deadline to submit (submission deadline). Late submissions or unsigned Submissions will be rejected, without exception. In accordance with Arkansas Procurement Law and Rules, it is the responsibility of vendors to submit responses digitally or at the designated location before the deadline date and time.
Questions must be submitted via Beacon Bid or through written communication only to purchasing@bentonville.ar.gov . The deadline to submit questions related to this invitation is September 23, 2026, at 4:30 PM CST, after this time the City will only provide clarifications or responses pertaining to items in the Response Documents that do not result in a change or Addendum (see Response Documents for additional information).
