NOTICE OF HEARING ON PETITION TO DETERMINE HEIRSHIP
Last known address of the Decedent: 502 East 9th Street, Smackover 71762 Date of Death: December 2, 2024
Pursuant to Ark. Code Ann. § 28-53-101, notice is hereby given that a Petition to Determine Heirship has been filed in the Estate of Gordon Earle Maroney, III, deceased, Case No. 70PR-24-302, pending in the Circuit Court of Union County, Arkansas, Probate Division.
A hearing on the Petition to Determine Heirship will be held on July 16, 2026, at 1:30 p.m., before the Honorable Mary Thomason, Circuit Judge, or such other judge as may be designated by the Court at the Union County Courthouse, Second Floor Courtroom, 101 North Washington, El Dorado, Arkansas, or at such other location as may be designated by the Court.
The property with respect to which the determination is sought includes the decedent’s real property commonly known as 502 East 9th Street, Smackover, Union County, Arkansas 71762, together with the decedent’s personal property, including household goods and personal effects, 2021 Nissan Rogue automobile, boats, trailers, firearms, bank accounts, corporate stock, and any other.
Notice is hereby given to all persons known or believed to claim an interest in the property as an heir of Gordon Earle Maroney, III, deceased, or through an heir or distributee; to all persons who, as of the date of filing of the Petition, may be shown by the records of conveyances of Union County, Arkansas, to claim an interest in any real property described in the Petition through an heir or distributee; and to any unknown heirs or distributees.
Any person claiming an interest in the Estate or objecting to the Petition may appear at the hearing and present the claim or objection to the Court, and may also file a written claim, objection, or other pleading in this case with the Clerk of the Union County Circuit Court.
