Copies are available to others, at their own expense, when authorized by the Construction Manager, Nabholz Construction Corporation. All bidders are strongly encouraged to visit the jobsite prior to bidding. Access to the site can be coordinated through Nabholz Construction by contacting Nathan Anthony – Bid Captain – 870-934-4838
3. BID REQUIREMENTS
The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any formalities. Bidder must have a current general or specialty license from the Arkansas Contractor’s License Board before the bid proposal will be considered. The bid proposal and work of the proposed contract shall be in accordance with all applicable federal, state, county and local laws, ordinances, and regulations.

NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS
Internet bids will be received by the Arkansas Department of Transportation until ten o'clock a.m., (10:00 a.m.) and until one thirty p.m., (1:30 p.m.), FEBRUARY 24, 2021. A complete listing of the jobs to be included in this letting can be found on the Department’s website at www.ardot.gov/ProgCon/General/JOBS_include.aspx.
Plans, Proposal Documents, and Specifications may be purchased in the Program Management Division at the address noted above during regular business hours until 4:30 the day before opening of Proposals. Requests to become an eligible bidder and questions regarding prequalification or bidding requirements should be addressed to the Arkansas Department of Transportation, Program Management Division at pmd@ardot.gov or via telephone at (501) 569 2261.
In order to have a bid considered, contractors must furnish a proposal guaranty consisting of either a bidder's bond or a certified or cashier's check in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total amount bid. In order for a bond to be acceptable to the Department, the company issuing the bond must be named in the Department of Treasury Listing of companies holding Certificates of Authority as acceptable sure¬ties on Federal Bonds and as acceptable reinsuring companies. The Underwriting Limitation of the bonding company shall be adhered to. Any excess (between the face amount of the Bond and the Underwriting Limitation) shall be protected by rein¬surance provided by an acceptable reinsuring company.
